Thirty-four-year-old graphic designer Stevie Jonson is all set to marry Jez, her long-term boyfriend and not-quite-the-man-of-her dreams. The week before the wedding she begins to have second thoughts, and fantasizes about running off to New York City. But Stevie is desperate to start a family, and Jez, despite all his faults, really does love her, so she quells any doubts she may have and decides to go through with it.
