Farmer Earl and his family are too crowded in their house. What to do? The farmer goes to see the wise woman. She advises him to bring the ducks inside. And then she suggests he bring in the horses. And then she tells him to bring the goats in. It's pandemonium in the house. What to do? The farmer goes to see the wise woman. Bring out the ducks and horses and goats, she tells him. And then the farmer and his family are content.
Based on an old Jewish folktale, with great illustrations and just-enough rhyme.
