A Stranger at Fellsworth

Happy sigh. This trilogy was so good! This particular story was a delightful finale to the series. I enjoyed the contrast of a leading lady who fell from society (thankfully, NOT due to an unwed pregnancy) and a leading man attempting to climb the societal ladder by wanting to become a landowner. It was really interesting to see their differing perspectives and how their circumstances and backgrounds influenced their views of life. The atmosphere of urgency, fear, panic, and danger, as well as friendship, antagonism, and sweet romance created a great immersive experience.
