2.5 stars for “better than okay”

Honestly, when I pick up a Robin Lee Hatcher book, I'm going for really deep characters, a serious faith lesson, and a storyline that packs an emotional punch. This one's a lighter read, and since it's an older work of hers, I'm guessing the book simply represents an era before she came into her own as a truly irresistible author!

I'd recommend it for younger readers, late teens and new adult level, who may not be as demanding of their stories.
