Okay wow, for about the first 30% or so, I thought this would be similar to the first two books with not a lot going on. But wowza could I BE more wrong.
After they all went to the spring break trip, things took off really well. Definitely way more plot than the first two books combined; which i really, really liked. The friendships and relationships have strengthened and it's really cool to see all of it play out together.

“It's not your fault,” Rose says. “You were a kid. we all were”“And you have a shitty fucking father,” Ryke adds.“And no mother,” Daisy says.“And you were an alcoholic,” Connor concludesFor the first time I have them, and I feel tears build at the words I never thought I'd hear. It's not your fault. I can believe it one day i think.
“I go to Calloway Sunday luncheons with Rose,” Connor tells me. Oh shit.If I marry Lily, I'm easily going to be the worst son-in-law. Connor Cobalt cannot marry Lily's sister. He'll set unattainable standards I'll never be able to reach.
I can already picture myself squealing to their intellectual banter.
defensive of a couple that I find destined and beautiful. They belong together the way books fit in a library.
