This book will offer a new look at the giants in our field by juxtaposing an edited selection of the stars' greatest hits with their "pre-fame" work. This book will showcase their visual history, the first glimmers of the ideas that made them stars, transitional work, and the eventual breakthrough pieces. Unlike other design books that show only the superstars' greatest hits, this collection will fill the chasm between "where I am" and "where I want to be." It will inspire designers by showing them something they can relate to and grow from: the rock-strewn path to greatness.
