My dad shared this book with me when I was working my way through reading the Bible cover-to-cover for the first time and wrestling with some theological questions about God's laws for before the cross and God's laws for after the cross.
Stringfellow does a great job of presenting a contextual Biblical argument along with presenting historical context of post-Biblical events to present a reasoning for observing Sabbath on Saturday without being a legalist.
Stringfellow's little book is easy to read, written in everyday language–I didn't need a dictionary near by. The reasoning is easy to follow and isn't full of proof-texting that doesn't make sense when read in context.
I highly recommend this book to those who are thinking of Sabbath keeping or are wanting to understand better the thinking behind Sabbath keeping by sabbatarian Christians today.
