I just finished All that is hidden by Rhys Bowen and Clare Broyles and here is my review.
Book 19 in the Molly Murphy Mysteries
Former Private detective Molly Murphy Sullivan is enjoying her life with her husband in their modest home. A life filled with love, trust and solidarity. All of that is turned upside down when Molly's husband, Daniel, accepts the sheriff of New York position that comes with a fancy home on 5th ave.
Daniel has never not discussed things like this before with her so what has changed? The area is teeming in kick backs and Molly wonders what else Daniel is keeping from her.
I am not going to lie, I hadn't read all the books in this series when I read this one but honestly, it stands pretty well on its own as a standalone.
Molly is such a wonderful protagonist. She is everything a strong female lead should be and the fact the book is set in 1907, it really makes the whole book sing! The whole book was ladened with suspense and kept me thoroughly entertained from start to finish!
I couldn't get enough of this book so I went ahead and ordered all the books I was missing.
This really is a one of a kind series that you won't be sorry you started!!
4.5 stars! Thank you to @Minotaur_Books for my review copy!
