This is a short book in almost a pamphlet style. It took me less than half an hour to read it and I found each of the eight points to be thoughtful and appropriate. A current minister has updated some of the 1700s language, so I can't speak to whether or not some of the content has also been edited, but it flows well and retains the rhythm of the older language. I got it for free on the iBooks app, though it appears to be a paid copy on Kindle. Since it is very short, it doesn't give more than a summary of each point; some seem to be rather strict, but others balance out the perspective, so the eight points should be taken as a whole package.

Apparently Boston was a Calvinist, but he wasn't an extreme one, and that perspective does not bleed through into this short work. Recommended to anyone who wishes to be ready to give a good answer to others and to anyone who has doubted their salvation.
