Amelia Bedelia is one that I remember from my childhood memories. I remember the hanging out light bulbs on the clothes line, was that to put out the lights? I think so. It always made me chuckle to find someone to be quite so literal. These books are awesome for fun, humor and teaching logic. This one, [b:Amelia Bedelia's First Apple Pie 8451970 Amelia Bedelia's First Apple Pie Herman Parish http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1280700178s/8451970.jpg 13315932] is my first experience with “young” Amelia Bedelia and I think she's awesome. I'm over the top delighted to be able to introduce the antics of Amelia Bedelia to my preschooler and I'm sure we'll read this one again and again and I'll have to add more to our shelves. Going on a trip to the Farmers Market, not to buy a farmer, but apples. Looking for Granny Smith... and baking a pie with Grandma. sigh This is a memory builder and it's excellent and fun.
