I'm looking and pre-reading books recommended by Beautiful Feet Books Memorial Day Pack and found this one available through Kindle Unlimited (not Kindle Freetime Unlimited). I read it through the Kindle Cloud Reader in my browser. Through the whole thing, I only noticed a handful of pictures/illustrations, so I cannot really comment on those very much, I felt that there should have been more and I'm curious if in the picture book version there would be more than what was in the Kindle eBook. The words, however, are the real gem for this picture book. This is a great way to open discussion and explain Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and in general the concept of MIA/POW (missing in action/prisoner of war). I think that the text in this book is very well done and if there were more images, it would receive a full five stars from me. I do not currently own a copy of this book, but will eagerly look for one to add to our shelves, preferably physical.
