There were some great points to enjoy in this book.
The complex sisterly relationship—featuring love, jealousy, and competition—between Georgina and Miranda felt real. It was exciting to see a pair of sisters so well written.
All the ups and downs of the plot lent themselves well to an emotion-filled tale. Because the plot felt more organic and less ridiculous than the previous two books in the series, my emotions stayed engaged throughout the story.
The desire to write well was clear from the opening scene. At that point, I had no clue it would take such a huge role in Georgina's journey. My writer's heart latched on to that aspect of this story, and I rather enjoyed Georgina's struggles even more for her determination to improve her abilities.
One theme stood out strongly to me: Our shortcomings make us none less worthy of God's love. This theme was beautifully expressed throughout the book, and it felt quite profound.
