I've read a million mystery or crime stories throughout the years. I like them, but I tend to forget about them, and the plot, soon after I close the book. Sometimes the sensation of the book being good lingers on, sometimes not even that. But this one... I remember many details, especially of the last chapter, even though I read it for the last time over a decade ago.
