Archer's Voice

This isn't a happy fluffy novel – there are some great lovely scenes, but there is a lot of trauma these characters have to work through. 


Now, I picked this one up because it has a TON of reviews and seems to be a staple for romance readers. I've been reading romance now for... 3-ish years? so every once in a while I try to read these books that much of the community loves. It is me, checking in. I'm glad I picked this one up, I think it is gripping and an emotional read. Not a favorite of mine, but I see why it gets so much hype. 

This is a book that is hard to put down, but can be overly dramatic at times, like I don't know how someone can own a town, is this really a thing? This felt like it could be a movie at times with how over the top some things were, but at the same time it made it an interesting read.
