An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators' Revolution

I spent the last 10 days devouring and being devoured by this story. Kuang's version of Oxford, the magic, the mystique, and the way that she writes about the devastating dissonance of holding both gratitude and disgust for the system that exploits you - all of these felt intoxicating, addictive, and I couldn't put the book down.
There's much more to be said, but for now I'll leave it at that.
