My first time reading Elin Hilderbrand and I enjoyed her style. Any author who can evoke a sympathetic tear after one page has my respect. I love all the authentic details that bring the story to life. At times she does put in maybe too much backstory? Too many observances? I found myself skimming at times because they were bogging down the plot. I thought the three POV's she chose to narrate a wedding were interesting. I thought the ending was satisfying and real without being melodramatic. A good read.
