How Life Stories Can Remake Today's Theology
This book gives an introductory treatment of the processing of materials in manufacturing technology. It is intended as a first year course suitable for a number of disciplines which include mechanical, civil and electrical engineering, metallurgy, materials sience, materials engineering and physics. The text has been directed to giving fundamental aspects of processes involving solidification, joining, sintering, plastic deformation, surface physics and surface engineering. It is intended as a contribution to the teaching of the processing side of materials. New developments are stressed, and the subject of process and material selection is developed. Final chapters deal with computer applications, process control and modelling. In addition to being a text intended to supplement the current teaching of materials in the field of manufacturing processes, the book can be profitably used by practising engineers requiring an overall knowledge of this growing field.
