Buried Memories

It was a joy to return to the small town of Cedar Key, Florida for some more thrills and danger. There are some familiar faces from other books as well as some new faces to meet. For some reason I haven't managed to read these books in order, and I find that each one stands well on its own.

I have to say, I particularly liked that both hero and heroine struggle from nightmares. Not the usual thing you find characters connecting over, but it was well written and felt relevant to these two. I also really enjoyed the dogs that are part of the story! The whole “not saying goodbye” mention was also a good touch.

I did guess the identity of the perp before the big ordeal. Whew. Lotta hate there. But it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story when I guessed right.
