I'm delighted to find an author who writes a clean, non-sensual story with a clear Christian message. Calvert manages to portray attraction without smarminess, which I deeply appreciate and value. Macy's had a hard past, and adding a sniper incident to her commute really isn't welcome, either. But she meets the new deputy from Houston during the incident, and sparks are soon flying between the two of them.
I'm already eager to read more in this series!
