I'm going to be honest here, I bumped this book to the top of my TBR because the author had the sweetest reaction to some random people promoting his book and I just wanted to be another person pushing his book forward in the Amazon ranking. I'm glad I did because I really did enjoy the book but I'll admit I started reading with rose tinted glasses.

The character building was great, I ended up rooting for both sides (I'm a sucker for clowns too so there's that). The final girl is awesome as are all the women in the book.

The story is told from various points of view in a short story format for each, which makes for a fast paced reading experience without seeming overly choppy.

Trigger warning for sexual assault (nothing super descriptive but it's there) and some gore (again nothing overly descriptive).
