Change Rein

This one was just OK.

It is a super insta-love, which I normally love, but I just didn't feel the connection between the H/h is this one. Both were great characters, just boring and lackluster IMO. There is also time jumps in their relationship (5 weeks, 3 weeks) so we basically go from first date to “I LOVE YOU” with nothing inbetween. I wish the author had spent more time building their relationship and less with all the non-essential “horse talk”.

I'm also REALLY tired of authors using the same old crazy OW plot device. Can we PLEASE find something more original to cause angst. The kicker, in this one the crazy ex doesn't cause a minute of angst, so I have really no idea why she was even part of the book. I'm not sure why we needed a person the hero slept with one night hanging around throughout the book if she isn't going to actually ADD something to the story.

Overall this was just pretty blah...
