Charm

This one was my fav of the series so far. It's fascinating how a character can endure so much trauma yet not let it harden them wholly. The setting(s) which the story takes place is unique and I think that's what i enjoy the most. Sure there's the usual enemies to lovers trope but at least the circumstances and setting are a refreshing change. I feel that I'd personally want to remain in an alternate realm where I could start fresh without prejudice than return home to a constant hateful shitshow. But maybe that's because I've had to move a lot and started over that such a choice isn't as hard than say if I'd never left my hometown or wasn't so damn stubborn and independent AF.
