This world has Yoma, demonic-like creatures that feed on humans, creating a new race of half-demon, half-humans. All of them are silver-eyed women armed with claymores (swords at least 55 inches long). Someone commonly referred them to as claymores because no one knows their names. Because of their reliance on humans on food, these powerful half-breeds fight the Yoma.
Clare's adventures include uncensored action scenes, so this is for readers 18+. It wasn't much of an introduction, but we still learned a little about claymores.
The strange way it drew the faces makes the character figures rather unappealing. Because of their identical uniforms, weapons, hair color, and eye color, all claymores look alike. The way Yoma is drawn is also simplistic and human-like, which easily makes them look like bandits with fangs. It's hard to find characters engaging when they all appear identical. The art style also lacks depth, making it difficult to fully appreciate the characters and their stories.
I don't see myself continuing this series. Ultimately, these factors create an unimpressive story with forgettable characters.
