What a lovely story!
I adored the letter-writing style of this book, and Jerusha was a delightful lead to cheer for.
There's a fun retelling of this one: Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay. I've read/listened to it at least four times.
It was wonderful to finally read the classic that inspired Mrs. Reay's debut novel.
