Rain moves to a new location after an accident she feels responsible for. She's closed off and doesn't want to think about love she just wants to make sure no one gets hurt in her pool. Knight is dealing with his own past and recedes into himself when he can't ignore the pain anymore. Both are drawn to each other.
This book was quite interesting. It kept me reading so that's a good sign. I don't think this book is for everyone since it is pretty slow. I was amazed how many times Rain can manage to get herself into trouble and the sheer amount of times where she was sexually harassed is astonishing.
