Dumplin'

although the idea was good, i had a lot of issues with it. ellen and willowdean separated very quickly, bo and willowdean were really weird at the beginning, and willowdean was so selfish and her personality was so inconsistent that i was always annoyed with her.

the positives, though, were that i loved the representation and the little moments of the story, like when the girls met up with lee and simple conversations between willowdean and amanda. it was a good idea, and a lot of worked, and a lot of it didn't. mainly, my rating is so low because of how little i connected with willowdean.
