East of West, Vol. 1: The Promise

I'll check this out of curiosity.

Futuristic sci-fi Western in which Death has separated himself from the other three Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He's trying to get to his wife and then to his son, whilst they are trying to kill him. Meanwhile, old people in charge of everything are trying to end the world.

At times baffling, never boring, and the Chamberlain is quite entertaining. The art is decent, although subjectively not my favorite style. There's some grue and horror here, and that's good. It's interesting enough to keep me intrigued by the next one.
