I got my hands on an advanced galley of Enzo: Racing in the Rain and noticed the illustrator is the same [Alley] as the newly released Paddington picture books and The Paddington Treasury which we're really enjoying and I was intrigued.
The story is cute about finding a true home and anyone with pets with personality will enjoy it. It is all told from the point of view of Enzo the dog and his attempt to communicate with the humans and environment around him.
I think my galley is incomplete in process as there is no coloration to the pages, but even left as pencil drawings it is great to look at and tells the story in images.

Update, now that I've gotten my hands on a final copy, I echo my opinion of five stars. The illustrations are indeed full color and so much fun. Written by Garth Stein, with Zoe B. Alley and R.W. Alley, illustrated by R.W. Alley.
