Escape from the Badlands

A fast-paced mystery where at first small sabotages happen and then more determined attempts are made on their lives; they aren't the only ones in danger and the bad guys aren't giving up. One bad guy was a surprise and the other wasn't; but I guessed the main baddie pretty late in the book. Twisty mystery in this one!

It was fun to see Bill Cloudman again from book #2 and get the wrap-up of a dangling story line from that book.
