Every Love

I've been reading poetry off and on for the past year or 2 and I still feel like I am new to poetry and I'm not very good at writing reviews for poetry collections but I will try my best.

Poetry tends to be hit or miss for me and I am so glad this one was a hit. I am about to prove to y'all how dumb I am when it comes to poetry but I have found that when poems rhyme I tend to enjoy them more and I tend to understand what the author is saying more. I'm sure there is a term that I should use but like I said I'm dumb lol.

Anyways I enjoyed reading this poetry collection and most of the poems resonated with me. There were a few poems that I didn't connect with but there's always bound to be some. I literally highlighted most of the poems when I was reading this and that hasn't happened in a long time. While the poems are simple they have a huge impact with such few words.

As I said I really enjoyed reading this. I would definitely recommend it to mature audiences because there are some heavy topics discussed.
