Gabrielle returns to the French chateau she has been driven from as a teenager by her austere mother, the family housekeeper, who wanted to keep her from a romance with Luc, the landowner’s handsome son. Gabrielle finds that she is still hopelessly attracted to Luc, but this time perhaps they can meet as equals, with her experience as a vineyard owner in Australia now able to match his background.
