Eye of the Needle

Well, before it I read Follett's The Key to Rebecca which is also an enjoyable thriller. But this book is even better. In this book based on World War II, Follett captures that period brilliantly. And there's plenty of thrills throughout the book for the cat and mouse chase of British Intelligence with the book's villain Needle. Overall, this is a great thriller, one of the best spy thriller books I've read.
