I have a lot of sock knitting books and I have read a lot of sock knitting books, yet I was never a fan of the Sockupied eMag. This stands out as a lovely collection of patterns for a range of skill levels and a solid set of articles for castons, bindoffs and manipulating patterns to incorporate preferred techniques or sock knitting styles. I regularly recommend Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush as a good first sock book - this is definitely another contender.
