First off, I will say this is a book intended for adult women...I wouldn't hand it to a young teen just because of some frank talk about past choices some of the characters have made.
Personally, I loved it. I think it's one of Wade's best books to date. The Christian message shines through true and clear and the need for a specific trust in the one and only Saviour is explicitly stated. The themes of the story are of forgiveness and redemption. I loved these parts best.
The banter between Corbin and Willow is fun. So is the mystery of what happened to young Charlotte's great-aunt Josephine, who disappeared from their area of Washington back in ‘77, leaving no trace behind for her worried family.
A very vain plus for me: Willow wears an outfit like the one on the cover. I love when that happens.
Content: lots and lots of kisses; talks of past affairs; three instances of “gosh”
