Family Til' It Can't Be, Gang Til' It Ain't

Every single time I read the text the characters used to call the rest of the group I read it in that TikTok NPC girl voice (you know the gang gang, ice cream so good, pop pop girl, if you don't, do yourself a favor and do NOT look it up) and that brain rot probably didn't help my reading experience. I wasn't a fan of the name-dropping section either since the book was so short and choppy, if you're going to trim all the fluff you might as well go all the way.

Points for a great ending though.

The characters within were very well developed for being such a short novella. The way the dialog was written, I could distinctly hear each character's voice. However, this book wasn't for me and not for the subject matter as I knew what I was getting into. I just felt that some areas could be more developed or discussed further which I understand can't easily be done in a novella. Chaz has great potential and I look forward to reading his subsequent books in the future.
