First I want to thank the author for an eARC of this copy to share my honest thoughts and review.

I love love love sci-fi reads, they were my first favorite genre. Specifically YA sci-fi! This book definitely did not disappoint, it hit some of my favorite sci-fi notes.
World-building is phenomenal when executed right and this book served that dish well, the details and creativeness were awesome.
For me I get sucked into a book when I can root for the characters and they drive the plot, and I was very happy with the characters' growth and journey in Fate Born.
My favorite part of the book overall was probably the connection between Aria and Luca. I liked the idea of it and how it worked in the storyline!
Last thoughts: I would definitely recommend to other YA sci-fi lovers!
