I enjoyed this book. It has a really nice plot, with some intriguing ideas and really nice characters. I especially liked Jade and Aron, they're the friends everyone needs in their life.
What bothered me about this book was the fact that there were just too many “...” inserted like - everywhere, and sometimes I couldn't even concentrate on what was happening because the sentences kept having a lot of dots in them. Another thing was the spelling and grammar mistakes I've encountered in the e-book copy I was kindly provided by the author in exchange for the review. I don't know if that's the final version of the book, the one that's getting published, so I'm not going to insist on that matter.
I like Alexa, the main character. She's strong, she is interesting and she's a really cool teenager. I loved the fact that when she was never scared to fight back when Sarah bullied her and those around her. There were a lot of deep things in this book that could be easily missed, but I saw them and I really appreciate them, especially the fact that Alexa helped those two girls that were bullied (Tara and Gabby) and she made their lives better.
I somehow wished for more paranormal stuff, but since it's only the first book in the series, I'm not going to complain. The whole idea of the book is really interesting and I like the way it entwined the modern world (social media etc.) with paranormal.
The ending left me wanting for more and I can't wait to see what the next book is going to bring!
