This was better than the first but the problem with terri terry is her knack for re-stating what has already been said and for the too much feelings thingy... Which explains why this book is 400 pages long. The ending was good... Really good and it makes feel a bit guilty that i gave the book 2,5 stars.
Kyla is still stupid though. Sometimes she reached conclusions too fast it is weird like some god planting the ideas in her head... And sometimes she takes pages to find stuff out even not on her own when I already would have found it out at the right time.
What i still don't get is why in every YA book 17 year olds are responsible for saving the world. But in this book it seemed the most ridiculous of all. Kyla seemed like a freaking saviour. It is pushing over the limits and just flat out ridiculous. But i can still see terri's point. Someone changed and manipulated since she was a kid.
And also it crossed my mind that the book is too close... Too focused on a handful of places... Too limited it is annoying And removes credibility. Oh and not enough description of places people and things
All in all it makes me excited for book three
