I enjoyed this book. Chloe was wild and all over the place but I loved her. Red was just amazing, I loved him too. I loved how much he cared for Chloe and how obsessed with her he was from the get go, even if he confused it with hatred at first haha.
I love how they balance each other out and how much they understand one another. I liked that they became friends first. At first, the plot wasn't my favourite - I hate when FMC needs MMC's help to get anything done (especially if that's a love coach trope which I absolutely hate), but I liked it here.
The third-act breakup was completely unnecessary though. If only they just talked, this whole drama would be dealt with. At least Red realized almost immediately that he messed up, but the damage was done. No wonder Chloe didn't want to trust him again.
The family was too nosy for me, I have to admit. The sisters either weren't there at all or if they were, they didn't leave Chloe alone. I wish there was some balance. And the parents and aunt Mary - just no. Gigi was weird too and not my kind of weird.
