God of Malice

Booktok is so bad for me. This is a standalone dark college romance book in Rina Kent's Legacy of Gods series. It's the first one as well.

The spice was excellent and the plot wasn't bad either. I did like the touch her and die trope.

But maybe I'm too old for the college age characters? I still want to try reading The Ritual which also takes place in college.

I hate comparing, but after Haunting Adeline, my expectations were high. And this didn't do much for me.

The other characters I'm not sure I want to read about, so this might be the only book I read from this series.
