An excerpt (or excerpts, I am not sure) from [b:Milligan's War 745311 Milligan's War Spike Milligan https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328097789s/745311.jpg 731460], in this Penguin 60.In Spike Milligan style, the book follows the authors conscription to the army, the training and preparation for war, and ends shortly after his regiment are sent to Algiers.It is a mixture of biography with the usual slapstick and ridiculousness one comes to expect from Spike Milligan, but to be fair it covers a lot of legitimate ground, and was an interesting read.Possibly a little dated nowdays.
