Half-Blood Mage

Whew! I went through such a range of emotions reading this book. Ginger Li kicks off the “Light and Fire” series with an emotional and trap-laden Half-Blood Mage (Amazon, 9781733452205, 2020).

I am trying to think of what to write without giving anything away (laugh). This is a good thing! Li gives us a young heroine who is someone you want to grow with and cheer for. Lia starts off the story as green as we are as to where life is heading so we start the adventure together.

Li then lays a trail of surprises, twists, red herrings, pain, and joy. I cannot wait to see Lia grow and to find the answers and save the worlds.
