3.5 Sleepy Notes Before Turning Off the Light:

1) I'd read another one of Angie Kim's books—she's a great writer.2) “Happiness Falls” wasn't much of a mystery novel. I liked this surprise since it's not a genre I tend to enjoy. (I was trying to branch out a bit.)3) When I realized the story took place during the 2020 pandemic, I felt a sense of regret over buying the book without looking into the premise. I wonder if I'll ever come to enjoy anything set in that time period? I loved the footnotes. They paired well with the way my brain works.
