100% believe when Hua Cheng “greeted” Qia Rong he was looking for Xie Lian and something went down which caused him to lose his temper and start a massacre.


All the subtle allusions and foreshadowing is so completely well done. I know I'm missing SO MUCH because I just don't know what all is actually going on. Like Nan Feng and Fu Yao– it is sooooo clear there is something else going on now that I KNOW. I'm looking forward to the day after I've finally finished this series where I can do another re-read with the knowledge of what is to come, so I can keep my eye out for the hints I am currently missing.
