Homeland's Hope
Homeland's Hope
Certain aspects of this story were rushed, including a romance. Every chapter and plot point could have easily been expanded to allow the reader a better chance to feel immersed in Virginia's world and get to know the characters more thoroughly. A couple of things were too convenient, so they felt contrived. This story felt like the CliffsNotes version.
The ending was abrupt with no resolution. Everything the story was leading up to was left hanging.
I liked that this story featured a singer who was a spy. That aspect was neat. I just wanted more to the story to be able to feel swept away with the spy as she sought ways to serve her country.
The note to the reader contained ten times more detail than the story itself.
