Hooked

While this book was by no means a literary masterpiece, I had a good time and decided not to overanalyze the characters and the story overall. My expectations weren't super high, and the book did manage to exceed them. It could have been darker, but if you're not that used to dark romances, this could be a good place to start.

My favorite thing about the book was how aspects from Peter Pan were integrated within the contemporary setting. Even though I did guess many of the plot twists, the story was enjoyable and I had a good time while reading. The writing and smut were pretty good overall, but some of Hook's thoughts and word choices were really off-putting. Otherwise, he was my favorite character throughout the whole book.
