This book was hard to read. It was heartbreakingly beautiful. I'm definitely reading this series again.
I did not like this book as much. Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline could have been two completely different books. This book is twisted. I'm a bit sad this is a duology. Haunting Adeline was twisted but in a different way. If the book ended on a different note (no cliffhanger) I would have loved it. Put it on my shelf and reread over the years. This book... This book destroyed something in me. Freaked me out and I don't like it. However, I fucking hated Zade in book one because he was a stalker/rapist but his redemption came and I fell for him by the time this book ended. I love that Addie was able to overcome everything and become the badass she is. If this was a stand alone book I probably would have DNF'd it because I don't usually put myself through that kind of trauma but I was invested in the characters and needed to know how it ended.
