Poetry isn't a genre I read often but one I try to dive into a few times a year. I Say These Things to Myself is one I was gifted by Odyssey Books and I'm glad I accepted.
Most often, women are conflicted, hard on themselves, and focus their thoughts on others. I found this book to be filled with a lot of what I feel and think of. The author does more than share their heart...they share uplifting and encouraging sentiments which I needed to hear.
Sometimes books just find you at the right moment and this is one of them. I highly recommend for lovers of poetry and even those readers who want to try this genre but haven't yet. This is a great one to dive into.
I sincerely appreciate the publisher for the review copy. All opinions expressed are my own.
