Obviously we're running a bit behind in our weeks as today's read was [b:In November 874393 In November Cynthia Rylant http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347413555s/874393.jpg 859748] and we're a few days into December. sigh November has always been a favorite month for me for so many reasons. It is my favorite season of the year with all the beauty of the colors and leaves and changes. The temperatures outside are wonderful to enjoy as well. It is also a time of gathering with family and friends and then of course there is my birthday. With all of that, coming in, I was guaranteed to enjoy this book. This one was another recommended read aloud from Memoria Press Junior Kindergarten and it is fabulous for describing the month of November and the season of fall. It is apparently the tale of a farm and it's inhabitants and family. It is a good read and I would recommend it. I love the colors, but I just wasn't a fan of the illustrations. It is painted, and just too blurry for my opinion. But as for [a:Cynthia Rylant 5411 Cynthia Rylant http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1228192636p2/5411.jpg] and her words, where I know we'll be visiting more of her books I'm looking forward to it.
