Precarity, Power, Communities
Joy James' In Pursuit of Revolutionary Love comprises recent writing by the US-American political visionary and theorist. Focusing on her writing on community and abolition, James carves a path through the love and grief that is the motor for Black liberation. She uses her experience working with political prisoners to bring forward the traces of this love that makes freedom possible. James' work is not available outside of academic contexts and contexts of political organization, we are working to connect it with readers more widely.
